1. About Us

Design And Selections Hub is an independent interior design studio providing professional design advice, selections consulting, joinery design and collaborative studio facilities for homeowners, builders, developers and independent designers.

Unless otherwise stated, DASH provides professional design services only and does not manufacture, supply or install products.

2. Our Services

Our services may include:

 

• interior design consultations

• colour and material selections

• kitchen, bathroom and joinery design

• space planning

• renovation and new home design advice

• design documentation

• studio and meeting space hire

• access to our sample library

• educational workshops and presentations

The scope of each project will be outlined in a quotation, proposal or written agreement.

3. Appointments

Appointments may be made via our website, telephone or email.

Please arrive on time to ensure your consultation can be completed within the allocated booking period.

Additional consultation time may incur additional fees.

Should we need to reschedule your appointment, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible.

4. Fees & Payment

Fees for consultations and design services will be advised before work commences.

Invoices are payable in accordance with the payment terms stated on the invoice.

For larger projects, a deposit may be required before design work begins.

Outstanding invoices may delay the release of drawings, documentation or other deliverables.

5. Cancellations

Appointments cancelled more than 48 hours before the scheduled time may be rescheduled without charge.

Appointments cancelled within 48 hours or unattended appointments may incur the full consultation fee.

We understand unexpected circumstances arise and will always endeavour to be fair and reasonable.

6. Quotations & Variations

Quotations remain valid for 21 days unless otherwise stated.

Any changes requested after acceptance of a quotation may constitute a variation and may incur additional fees.

Where additional work is required beyond the original scope, a revised quotation will be provided for approval before proceeding.

7. Design Advice

Our recommendations are based on information supplied by the client together with our professional judgement and experience.

Clients remain responsible for verifying:

• site dimensions

• engineering requirements

• structural advice

• building approvals

• compliance with relevant Australian Standards

• council and regulatory approvals

Design And Selections Hub accepts no responsibility for construction errors or site conditions beyond our control.

​

8. Product Recommendations

We recommend products and suppliers in good faith based on their suitability for your project.

Product pricing, colours, finishes, availability and specifications are controlled by individual manufacturers and suppliers and may change without notice.

Design And Selections Hub cannot guarantee product availability or manufacturing lead times.

9. Intellectual Property

All drawings, plans, joinery designs, schedules, specifications, mood boards, renders, written content, photographs and other design material prepared by Design And Selections Hub remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing.

These materials may not be copied, reproduced, distributed or used for commercial purposes without our written permission.

Payment for design services does not transfer copyright ownership.

10. Studio Hire

Independent designers and businesses hiring our studio agree to:

• use the premises respectfully

• maintain a professional environment

• leave the studio in a clean and tidy condition

• report any accidental damage immediately

• use the facilities only for lawful business activities

Design And Selections Hub reserves the right to refuse future bookings where facilities have been misused.

Studio users remain responsible for their own clients, professional advice and business activities.

11. Sample Library

Samples made available by Design And Selections Hub remain the property of DASH or the relevant supplier.

Where samples are loaned, they must be returned in good condition within the agreed timeframe.

Lost or damaged samples will incur replacement costs.

12. Independent Designers

Designers hiring our facilities operate as independent businesses.

Unless specifically stated in writing, they are not employees, contractors or representatives of Design And Selections Hub.

Each designer remains solely responsible for the advice and services they provide to their own clients.

13. Photography

With the client's permission, Design And Selections Hub may photograph completed projects, studio spaces or events for use in our portfolio, website and social media.

No identifying information or occupied residential interiors will be published without prior consent.

 

14. Website Content

The information published on this website is intended as general information only.

While we make every effort to ensure its accuracy, Design And Selections Hub makes no guarantee that all information is complete, current or suitable for every individual project.

Professional advice should always be obtained before making significant design or construction decisions.
